Carriage House at the Barney

It was nice to finally see the house! The view was great

We had our wedding at the Carriage House on October 19th this year. It is such a charming and quaint venue with a lot of history in the heart of Springfield's Forest Park. Michael was very accommodating with our requests for the rehearsal dinner the evening before and with getting ready in the spacious lovely upstairs bridal suite. We had so much fun taking pictures on the grounds and our photographers were able to get some beautiful shots. Throughout the evening Michael did an amazing job to make sure all of the tent heaters we rented were working in proper and safe order. He even poured us our own champagne when the waitress missed out flutes. I highly recommend the Carriage House at the Barney in Forest park.

if you're thinking about doing an outside wedding this is the place to go it has everything you need to do you can do your pictures there. The outside venue was great the inside one is is just as nice as well plenty of places for photos it was a great location for my wedding I also recommend the Chez Josef for the food service also fantastic
